Strategy Breakdown


When The Mercians' team approached us at the end of 2023, they were gearing up for a huge year of consistent releases building toward their upcoming debut album.

After A/B testing 30+ shortform performance videos, we established a powerful Spotify conversions campaign that expanded their listener base rapidly and efficiently.

We then retargeted all of the band's new listeners with high-quality nurturing content, strengthening the artist/fan relationship, and preparing these new audience members for different paid offers further down the funnel.

The results? +39,000 monthly listeners and +7,400 Instagram followers.

Throughout Q1 of our marketing efforts, we helped develop an extremely engaged fanbase. We were quick to realize there was a ton of untapped revenue at our fingertips.

We planned a series of Limited Edition merchandise drops which led into a Patreon fanclub launch.

The results? +$17,400 in E-Commerce revenue from June to August of 2024... with much more to come.

In Q1 of 2024 we began aggressively creating awareness in all eight target markets The Mercians were planning on performing at in the coming months. We used the band's highest-performing visual assets to create 'video view' audiences that we then systematically retargeted with more pieces of content. Two months out from the shows, we pivoted to sales conversion ads, selling tickets directly to this audience.

The results? A completely sold-out UK tour. 4300 tickets.

This led the band to be brought on as support for UK superstar Jess Glynne for her Summer tour.
