Strategy Breakdown


When Cozyboy's manager came to us in Q1 of 2023, they had been losing monthly listeners consistently for about six months.

Our first plan of action was to build out a new Spotify conversion campaign. We tested about 20 different content pieces in 'greenlight countries', selected winners, then tested those across five different target audiences. We were able to get the Cost Per Conversion down to $0.17

The next step was to activate his stagnant audiences on FB and IG, by retargeting these old fans with some exciting new content and driving them to his new releases. Within a month, we saw tons of new attention from Spotify algorithmic playlists, and in the next couple of months, his listeners were back to an all-time high!

We began by re-targeting everyone who clicked through to Spotify with a series of high-performing content pieces, while also making sure to boost any new posts, ensuring his new audience mwould see them.

We then hit this new cohort of fans with a Meta 'IG Profile View' campaign. This resulted in tons of new followers in the first 3 months of working together.

After sufficiently warming up Cozyboy's audience with an Education Sequence that spanned 8 weeks, we built the necessary infrastructure for an effective Opt-In campaign. We tested a few different bribes, copy, and creative, before finding a combination that grew his list for $.53 per lead.

We then built out a robust Welcome Sequence to nurture new subscribers, culminating in an exclusive merch offer, that resulted in $8951 of Shopify revenue.
