Privacy Policy
Effective August 10, 2026. This policy explains what Highline Marketing LLC (doing business as Highline Artists) collects when you use highlineartists.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.
Who We Are
Highline Artists is a marketing agency for independent musicians, operated by Highline Marketing LLC. When this policy says “we,” “our,” or “us,” it refers to Highline Marketing LLC. When it says “you,” it refers to anyone visiting highlineartists.com, filling out a form on the site, subscribing to our email lists, or applying to work with us.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@highlineartists.com.
Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit an application, contact form, or opt-in on our site, we collect the fields you fill in. That typically includes name, email address, project or artist name, budget range, links to your music and socials, and any message you write. If you engage us as a client, we also collect billing details necessary to bill you.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site, we and our third-party analytics providers collect standard log data (IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page), plus behavioral events (clicks, scroll depth, form submissions). This is used to understand what content works and to improve the site.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and pixels to remember settings, measure traffic, and attribute the source of leads and clients. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. Some site features may not work correctly with cookies disabled.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to applications, contact submissions, and support requests.
- Deliver services to clients we work with.
- Send email newsletters, educational content, and offers if you have opted in.
- Improve our website, marketing, and ad campaigns by measuring which content and channels drive results.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the site and our business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your form submissions with third parties for their own marketing.
Third-Party Tools We Use
The site uses a small number of third-party services. Each processes some information about you on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site analytics. Google may set cookies to measure and report site usage.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) for advertising measurement and audience building. Meta may set cookies and match hashed identifiers to your Facebook or Instagram profile if you have one.
- Drip as our email marketing platform. Your email address and opt-in metadata are stored in Drip when you subscribe.
- Railway and Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security. They may process request logs to serve and protect the site.
- Google Workspace for our team email (support@highlineartists.com) and shared documents.
- Stripe for payment processing if you become a paying client. We do not store your full card number.
Email Marketing
When you opt in to a lead magnet, guide, or newsletter, we add you to a Drip list and send you related content. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from that list within a business day. Transactional emails (application replies, invoices, client communication) are not marketing emails and are not affected by unsubscribing.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain uses of it, and export it in a portable format. Residents of California, the EEA, and the UK have these rights under CCPA, GDPR, and UK GDPR respectively.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@highlineartists.com from the address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before we act on the request.
You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can adjust ad personalization on Meta from your Meta Ad Preferences.
Data Retention
We keep application and contact submissions for as long as we may reasonably need them to respond to you or evaluate a potential engagement, typically up to 24 months. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement plus seven years for tax and legal purposes. Email subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe or we identify them as inactive.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the data we hold, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our internal systems, and vetted third-party processors. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email support@highlineartists.com and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
When we materially change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
