FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does tour marketing actually mean?

Tour marketing is the full system for filling rooms: routing the tour into the right cities (based on buyer data), warming those cities with paid retargeting in the weeks before announcement, running ticket-sales conversion ads in the final two weeks, and capturing buyer data at every step so the NEXT tour compounds.

When should I start tour marketing?

Ideally 6 weeks before announcement, longer for bigger markets. Markets with less than 4 weeks of lead time consistently underperform. If announcement is already locked, the sooner we get started, the better the conversion math.

How is the routing done?

We pull your buyer list (merch buyers, email subscribers, course or lead-magnet purchasers) and rank cities by buyer density per capita. Top 8 to 15 markets get prioritized. We avoid the common mistake of routing off Spotify listener counts, which do not predict ticket sales reliably.

What about cities I really want to play even if the data is weak?

Reasonable on a tour-by-tour basis. We will flag the risk and recommend an ad spend tier that fits. Sometimes a market needs extra warming budget to overcome lower starting buyer density. Sometimes it is fine to take the loss on a passion city as long as the rest of the tour carries it.

Do you handle ticket platforms (Bandsintown, DICE, AXS, etc)?

We work with whatever platform the venue or promoter uses. Our job is driving qualified traffic to the buy page and converting it. Platform choice is upstream of us.

Which Highline tier includes tour marketing?

Full Service ($2,000/mo plus $1,000+ ad spend) includes tour marketing alongside audience, email, and monetization. The Social and Spotify Growth tier does not include tour marketing as a standard scope item.
